The surgery would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused by the telephone system failure recently. These issues have been investigated and worked on over the last few days which has resulted in the whole system being reprogrammed from scratch. We are pleased to advise that the telephones are now working and receiving all calls. These are being constantly monitored by management and engineers.
If you experience any issues or difficulties connecting to your surgery please email the practice firstname.lastname@example.org to highlight immediately so that we can investigate and resolve as soon as possible. The surgery still continues to look at different options to improve your contact with the practice and any changes will be communicated to you as soon as possible.
Thank you for being understanding as we resolved these issues.
Welcome to Mevagissey Surgery
We are confident that our website will provide clear and concise help and give our patients the information they require in an easy and convenient format. It has been designed with the patient’s needs at the forefront of everything, from checking surgery times to letting us know what you think of us.
Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues. Patients can now register with The Waiting Room Online which will enable you to book and cancel GP appointments, request medication and view your Summary Care Record. Due to the complex nature of Nurse appointments these are not available to book online. Pop in to reception to sign the consent form to get started.
Partners in Care
Once registered, patients and healthcare professionals work together to ensure the most appropriate care is provided. This partnership philosophy extends even further and our active patient group exists to make sure that patient needs and the practice offering are always heading in the same direction.
All staff at Mevagissey Surgery work in accordance to Information Governance Toolkit, previously known as The Caldicott Principles, set out by NHS England and The Data Protection Act 2018.
We understand it is not always easy to contact the surgery to obtain test results or other information you require and may ask someone else, such as your partner, to contact us on your behalf. Staff are unable to provide any information to a third party without prior consent. Consent can be provided in writing - by letter or email - or verbally. This is needed by law and is for patient safety.
